This policy says what the WispOS developer program keeps about you on developers.wisp-os.com and in the App Store's review, and why. It covers developers, not people who use the App Store.
What we keep
- Your account: your email, your name, your developer name and publisher id, the developer agreement version you accepted and when, and your password, kept only as a salted hash (never the password itself).
- What you send: the app packages you upload, their listing text, and each submission's history: its state, the reviewer's words, and any appeal you write.
- Your settings: whether you want review emails.
- Limits: to stop password guessing and floods, the site counts sign-in and sign-up tries by email and by network address. Those counts are deleted after about an hour.
- Your apps' numbers: downloads per day and ratings of your live apps. A download is counted without anything about who fetched it.
What we don't do
- No cookies, ads, trackers or outside scripts on this site. Signed in, your session lives in your browser tab and ends when you close it or sign out.
- We don't sell your information, or share it with anyone except as below.
Who sees it
- Your developer name is public: the App Store lists your apps under it. So is what your app's listing says.
- People who help us review see your account and what you send, to review it.
- The site runs on Cloudflare, which stores and serves it for us.
- We may share information when the law requires it.
How long
We keep your account while it is open. Packages that fail the checks are deleted from the upload store; reviewed packages and submission records are kept so the store can stand behind what it published. Ask us to close your account and we delete what we don't need to keep.
Your choices
You can turn review emails off in WispOS, and ask us to see, correct or delete your information: support@wisp-os.com.
